abinet instillation has taken place in Cashiers! I am posting a quick update on the kitchen beautification taking place at Figgy Cottage this week. Big changes and installations are happening as I type. Countertops are being measured tomorrow and a few of the appliances will be arriving. The tile for the back splash is in, the lighting is ordered and the pot rack is in the making. The Chinese Chippendale rail for the stairs is being painted right now–excitement is in the air … check back soon for more updates.
Kitchen view from the dining area–Daniel hard at work on the island
Front of Island from the entry hall–pretty stuff will be displayed on this side
Dutch door kitchen entry and storage area–there will be seeded glass doors on the upper shelving
Stucco and old beam hood designed by Keven Hawkins and made by my builder Tom Nunnaly–love the results
Farm house sink under the window–subway tile back splash will run from the counters to the ceiling. Cute Janie is supervising
Drawers, drawers and more drawers–I will have tons of storage
Living room view to the entry and new stair rail … Daisy inspecting the work
Chinese Chippendale rail being painted … thank you Mr. Hawkins
