Designer Extraordinaire Charles Faudree

FThe talented Charles Faudree was a truly gifted designer and a friend to those who knew him. He created beauty wherever he might be and touched those around him with his charming sense of humor. His friends and clients adored him and would argue about who would have the pleasure of his company at the next important occasion—or even the not-so-important occasion—casual dinner, lunch, cocktail party ….

Charles’ designs are timeless and beautiful; his work will influence French Country style for years to come. To see more of his work, view my Following Faudree board on Pinterest.

My blessing was to know him first as a neighbor and then as a friend here in North Carolina. Charles, we’ll miss your ever-present, beautiful smile; your soft humorous voice; and your charming personality.

Charles was such a classy talented designer and he truly cared about his clients. He was a very gracious and soft spoken man always wearing a smile. I will miss seeing him around Cashiers and The Designer Show House. He was the one who introduced me to French Country style which I love. I have all of his books which I will continue to enjoy. RIP Charles.
