The most delicious moments are definitely in your own kitchen these days. I have been chopping, sauteing, roasting, baking, and grilling up a storm in the past few months…I might even be saving money.
I don’t do small batches of anything. Cooking in huge batches lets me freeze half for later and enjoy a day without cooking. Today’s special batch is black bean soup—I love soup when the first chill hits the air. We also grill lots of chicken and shrimp, and then make shrimp or chicken salad, fajitas, soup or freeze the rest for another meal.
