      Those shingles are made from Poplar bark. The ones I used are very think and usually used on lodges or hotels.

      Lisa, Thank you! Most of it was locally sourced. The pine cones were a special gift from my son. I am thinking about adding a little glitter to them next year—Ala Martha Stewart!
