Why I Love Repeating House Crushes

This House Crush is worth repeating.

This house crush is worth repeating this week to inspire us all. It has been showing up on Instagram featured by others, including Flyingsheep-country and Stagridge designs.

This beautiful home belonged to Francie Hargrove and features her comfortable and stylish mountain decor. Down this meandering drive lined with boxwood, hydrangea, rhododendron and ferns sits the most charming House Crush. The cedar shake cottage has a lovely copper-roofed front entry flanked by beautiful lanterns and huge hydrangea—I love the planters. Inside, doorways and ceilings feature old salvaged beams accenting shiplap walls.

This House Crush was also spotlighted on the blog featuring a dinner she hosted with James Farmer here. Have another little look around and gather inspiring ideas for your house.

Welcome Friday and the weekend!

The living room is just lovely!

The doorway and ceiling are lined with old beams.

More beams and antlers accent the view to the kitchen.

The dog picture belonged to the late Charles Faudree

I love the way this piece is nestled in the corner.

Hydrangeas are featured all through the home. I love the dark lamp shade on the white lamps.

This cozy little space is situated between the kitchen and the dining room.

I love a landscape painting.

This tall clock is a great focal point for the long hall.

James and his assistant Lexi were busy in the kitchen.

Another look at Francie, James and the kitchen.

The butlers pantry is ready for service.

Champagne was served at the front door—love this idea.
