I need a little break from our house construction and our recent moves. My distraction of choice is to get organized … one room at a time. I’ve started in the kitchen using the book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo—well sort of.
I take everything out of each drawer and then organize that drawer—proceeding one at a time. First on the list was Mr. P’s tea drawer … he has a thing for tea and Teavana! After I work through the whole island, then I’ll move to the cabinets and other drawers.
Just think, I have a whole new grill kitchen and office to organize now. This is a great distraction from writing and working—and my house will live and look amazing!
Call me if you have an organizing emergency to help distract me—Wish me luck!

ORGANIZATION Success! The bamboo organizers I used are from Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Look what I found while unpacking—lemon squeezers from Boxwoods.

I love an organizing emergency, Lissy! My new year always begins with purging and organizing and like your husband, I am a tea junkie! Now I need to get the bamboo dividers. Happy Wednesday!

The bamboo organizers are the BEST!

Quite delightful. Try stumbling over your clothes piled on the floor because the holder broke… two days before Christmas…
Today, God, give me the strength to start picking up!
