The Bear Shadow is back!
The Bear Shadow is back for his appearance this Fall—he only shows up for a few days in October–November.
Crowds gather at the overlook between Highlands and Cashiers to take pictures and see the Fall color. On this day, the sky was clear, the sun was setting, and he made a gloriously clear appearance. If the sky is too cloudy or it is raining he’s just a ‘NO Show.’
Fall is my favorite season, and the mountains are showing off in colorful displays. If you need an idea for a little getaway, consider heading up our way—the Show is amazing this year!
And don’t forget the pumpkins.
