Cashiers Kitchen Love

Cashiers before
Totally clean ceiling. I didn’t know we had an arch in the ceiling–is that 80’s green?

I love the new show ‘For the Love of Kitchens’ on the Magnolia Network. If you haven’t seen it click on over for a little inspiration. My Cashiers kitchen renovation needs a second showing. This place was a disaster! There were 5 rooms and fake stone walls and ceilings everywhere. Dark wood cabinets with rubber doors and plastic handles—really. We knocked down the walls, and the whole space was bathed in light and fantastic views. We now have a kitchen, dining and family room combination that opens into the living room and entry. Mr. P had his doubts until the sledge hammers started opening things up—I think opening walls up is a specialty of mine. I was going to post a few more photos, but the floor man showed up and the bedroom furniture is now in my kitchen and living room. Check back for an update later.

The pantry was horrible.

Ahh…finally one space.
We added Old Barn beams from Georgia.
Cabinets went in quickly—color is Ben Moore Sandy Hook.
This was a major change.
I went for the marble with the most movement.

The math involved in the process was mind-boggling. All corners of the Island, room and entries had to match.
The table is a perfect fit. Check back for an update soon.
