The Cashiers Before and After

We have to start with the after so you don’t leave!

OK, where do I even start with this lovely? It was baby pooh orange with side gold plastic shower door windows (talk about a noun string) and branches nailed and glued to the walls in every room! We are talking ugly here.

The best feature of the entry was the stone patio that we matched and enlarged. The original idea was to remodel and sell this home until I discovered the neighborhood....

We can visit a golf course, a lake, a ski slope and the most charming camp in the world, all using a golf cart. Mr. ‘P’ said he can go to five restaurants and two pubs all in the golf cart—how great is that!

I am posting this renovation again because many of you may have missed this one. Let’s take a look at the outside today.

Happy house touring!

This is the house we bought—scary, right!

The left side of the entry was hidden by large plants–nothing but potential here!

‘Before’ no windows in the front—so unwelcoming.

Color choices were made for the exterior and the ‘Stop’ sign window yielded to a round window.

New paint color is just yummy–new doors helped, too.

The round window is from Randall Brothers in Atlanta.

An extra wide Dutch door was always my front door of choice.

The ‘in process’ picture of the entry.

Ahh, this is much better.

That side window became a new kitchen door—window box added by my builder.

Next time we are going inside…it’s scary.
