Stop the car and grab a cart—time for a pumpkin haul. This little guy was in pumpkin patch heaven. This was my first visit to B.B. Barnes, but it won’t be my last.
Oh, I Love a Good Project!
Who knew it would take
six weeks
to get gravel and stones to complete the garden patios. The greenhouse is painted, the stone edging is in and all of the stepping stones and gravel are neatly in their places. I am still moving furniture around to see what works in which area—I have a ‘selection‘ of outdoor furniture. Mr. P. has a Hickory furniture museum on all of the porches.
Wow-Check out those Window Boxes!
Wow is the word I hear every time someone notices my window boxes. These charming boxes have performed better than anything I have ever planted! It’s the middle August and they are still striving and growing.

Good bones are what everyone wants in a house or garden. You can always fix the ugly with a little lipstick, or stone in this instance. I am shocked at the difference this small change has made in my back garden.
